Beach baby

The second phase of the festivities was a beach barbecue this afternoon at tregantle beach, a steep climb down and up and a very professional barbecue with the sausages having been cooked and vacuum sealed and reheated on the beach! They were delicious.

The weather was beautiful and the sand warm but the sea was fresh and I only managed to get in up to my knees! Lots of the others did go jumping about in the waves.

Johns mother was going to be discharged today so they were going to see her later. When John spoke to her in the morning she was all for coming to the barbecue! A lady of spirit!

It wis his brothers birthday tomorrow so John had arranged to have a cake made and brought down to the beach and at about 14.30 he presented it to him! All very delightful!
