Fibre installation

A splitter node, on Leith Walk.  

For the first time, I was able to join the 2nd Saturday Strollers walk. It started from Haymarket (first extra), went through 4 substantial parks, to end up in Leith Links. Andrew Burns's blip has a list. Starbank park had the best flowers (second extra - catmint, Canterbury bells, bees). 

On the way across Leith Walk there was an Openreach splitter node (normally buried in a vault under the street or in a cabinet) having fibre added. A somewhat delicate job requiring steady hands as well as the tooling.

A good walk, with good company and conversation. Would recommend.
