In Full Bloom

The locust trees in my yard are in full bloom, their heavily scented cascades of flowers are alive with buzzing bees.  Soon, the summer snowstorm of falling petals will begin.  I am glad I didn't miss this event.  I must say, however, the number of bees seems to have diminished over the years.  That is a sad thing to see.  A beautiful, mild sunny day.  A perfect day for porch sitting with Louisa May.
