Expectations

This spotted flycatcher is incubating her eggs in the nest on top of portable ladders that we use for painting and other works around the cottage. This means that we refrain from such works for now until her babies have flown out of the nest..I took this shot just as she had flown back to the nest - for that reason her tail is still moving in the shot.
