Overgrown Weir

This is the river Teign near Dunsford and this slightly curious weir divides the stream. The main flow seems to tumble through the central box of the weir and back out into the river, sending it on down the valley. The other branch goes into a leat that runs to a mill which I doubt is still in use.

Several hours earlier and fifteen miles down the river I saw the lovely reflections in the scene I've added as an extra.
