Pretty pink peony!

Looking very fresh and pretty. But how long will it last? Peonies are not a favourite of mine as I dont like it when I see ants climbing on them.

I spent a good while this morning tidying up the part of the garden nearest the house. Then my regular midday phone call with my sister. We are both having telephone reception problems and it all got a bit crazy as we are not sure where the problem is!

Jack then cut the grass. Oreste, our gardener is on holiday so unusually we are in charge of our own garden! So we treated ourselves to sitting in the sun sipping a glass of bubbles each. Well it ended up we finished the bottle of bubbles! Jack went to sleep and I sat and watched rubbish on tv. Lovely afternoon!
