A Change Of Plans......

From the moment I walked into FBC this morning, I started finding out that things were going to be different today and though we might have been surprised, God was certainly not surprised and He already had plans to bless us as a congregation.  We started our service with worship and praise led by Gabe and the choir and orchestra, but without our choir director, Daniel, who was unable to be there this morning.  After the congregational praise and worship was finished, the choir, led by Debbie who did a wonderful job in Daniel's absence, and orchestra and all the various accompanists did a powerful gospel song, "Hold On To The Rock", which provided us with a good reminder that God is still in control, even when the unexpected happens!  The next blessing that God gave us this morning was the opportunity to hear Daniel McGinty speak to us from John 11 about how we, as the Church, are tasked with being in the world, but not of the world.  He told us that we are endangered, hated, alienated and inundated by the world around us, but that God has every solution we need to all those difficulties and He wants to share them with us if we stay in close relationship and communication with Him.  You can see the points in the collage, but I think you would enjoy and remember them better if you watch the Live-stream.  Our final blessing of the day was that we welcomed a new member which is always a joy!  I wonder what blessings God has in store for us next week.....Come and see!.
