A feast for the eyes

While our camper van was in the garage having its service we visited some of the lesser known sights of Dundee on foot. Our first stop was Camperdown Park (a very suitable name for our situation I thought). This was quite a find. With a mixture of open grassland and wooded areas with some magnificent specimens of old oak, lime, chestnut and beech trees. Bertie had a super walk, a wee bit different to the rough terrain he is used to. We also enjoyed it and had the bonus of a coffee in the cafe we discovered in one corner of the park.
Later in the day we called in at a hostelry that we came across. It was nothing special, except for this incredible display of cakes. I had to ask if they were real, and yes they were, all baked on the premises. Unfortunately neither of us was in cake mood so I can’t comment on the flavour.
