The Old Wye Bridge.

This was the main road bridge into Chepstow from Gloucestershire. Built in 1816 and has been strengthened several times to deal with traffic loads and volume.
As can be seen from the mud on the banks the river is tidal and apparently it has the second highest tidal range in the world. It can exceed 14 metres in a single day.
