A bonnie bloom

Walking Poppy to the park on a Tuesday morning gives me an opportunity to admire some of gardens we pass en route.

Today my eyes were drawn to this beautiful clematis nestling among the lavender. I think it was lavender but I couldn't get close enough with my nose to check for the distinctive perfume.

Cameras on zoom bring the image closer but sadly, not the wonderful perfume.
