Norwich; A fine city

A lovely day again, warm and mostly sunny, windy in the afternoon, calmer tonight.

Another early start, and headed off after breakfast.  We headed into Norwich this morning, but couldn't get as far as we thought.  Turned around, and a long chug steaming to Loddon by teatime, stopping for a cuppa along the way.  A fine walk around the village this evening, with the church bells ringing out, and even saw a Roe deer.  A few pints tonight, punters not amused with England losing the footie.

Since we were in Norwich, we stopped for a few hours for a walk around the city.  One thing I've really noticed in Norwich and Norfolk, the folks are super friendly, always a hello from strangers, and plenty of people waving along the canals and rivers.  I must admit, I do like the Norwich moto, Norwich; a fine city, very modest.  I definitely have to come back here again.  This was a view from the river Wensum, Norwich, Norfolk.
