Strawberry Supermoon Riding ….

…. above the Dents du Midi between 4am and 5am. Thank you Nexya for waking me up to “tell” me about it! I have not seen this phenomenon before, where the moon seemed to stay just above the summits before rolling down the right hand side, hence a very similar shot in the extra. The clouds had their edges glowing in moonlight, quite an extraordinary sight! 

Thanks to everyone who gave presents to yesterday’s Swallowtail butterfly, it seems we are very lucky to see these so frequently on the summits and ridges around here.
