Windmill 'De Haan', Brouwershaven

'De Haan' = the Rooster.  If I'm not mistaken, its sails are red, but they were not attached today.
'Brouwershaven' = 'Brewer's Haven' or 'Brewer's Wharf'
An important sea battle took place here in the Burgundian days of Philip the Good.

The Donkey was parked behind it, and I had to walk all the way to this spot, which is actually at the back of the local football field.  There is another windmill in Brouwershaven but I had no more time to check it out.  It's good to have an excuse to go back.

MOOCking and hand-washed laundry and kitchen duties... what else is new?  My left knee is no longer swollen and feels normal.  No more Tuesday evening live bridge for a while, so AW had a quiet evening. Son and Family have returned from their short weekend away and shared two videos of the fireworks set off at the end of their wedding party, which of course we had missed.

Another good day!
