Burnet Rose

According to my plant app the Burnet Rose is one of the thorniest wild rose species and the delicate white rose is beautiful to look at, but not to pick. This plant has purple/black rose hips.

The extra is a Hairy Dog Rose. I confess that both wild roses look almost the same to me but the fruits of this rose are bright red oval rose hips.

I spotted both on my walk round the loch this morning.
