New bloom

Another evening of watering and being in the garden and this new dahlia is the first of three plants of this variety to flower and a bit of a departure from the pompoms that I usually favour. It's been a warm day but not as sweltering as it is due to be and no blue sky this evening. 

Quite quiet in school with minimal numbers of Y11s once their Biology exam was done. They finish officially next Thursday so the peace will then be a feature. As, hopefully, will be more evenings in the garden.
