Lazy afternoon..

After a lovely time helping with transport and hosting at the community lunch we sat in the garden. An interesting read for me. Paul and Mike McCartney’s days living at 20, Forthlin Road, Allerton, Liverpool. Written by Mike McCartney.

After their mother’s too early death when the boys were only 14 and 12 years old, their father bought them a guitar, a banjo, acquired a drum kit that “ fell off the back of a lorry” and “encouraged them to process their grief through music and photography.”

The National Trust magazine is always good and this, an article to keep. Worth finding on www.nationaltrust.org.uk/beatles-childhood-homes
