Northfield House, Prestonpans

I had rather a nice jaunt on the bus to Prestonpans to visit family. Northfield House is my bus stop and it's in the old 'Preston' area of the town where there many buildings of historic interest.  Northfield House, a category A listed building, was built in the late 16th century for the Hamiltons but by 1607 had passed to Joseph Marjoribanks, an Edinburgh merchant.  The house is in private hands so no chance of a nosy inside!
