(167) Fs = -kx

Putting Hooke's Law to the test this evening with a new trampoline build. There were 72 springs to fit to the new one, which is a good few more than on the old trampoline that it replaces. That's because someone (not me, I'm just the hired help) decided that a 10ft model wasn't sufficient so there's now a 12 ft monstrosity taking up space the garden. The (somewhat over-cautious) safety guidelines state that there should be at least 2.5m space all around the trampoline when installed. We're well within that specification, assuming that "m" is a typo that should actually read "cm".
