Badgered

I have got used to seeing foxes when out walking the dog late at night. Indeed last night there were two sitting in the middle of a main road (a bus route) but which at midnight was quiet. The other night a fox cub appeared.

Tonight however was a first for me as I saw a badger run from a garden towards the King’s Buildings. The blip is of the entrance to the University of Edinburgh buildings. Our son often sees the badger on its grounds. It moved surprisingly fast.

And then there are the bats at the top of the road. So much wildlife just over 2 miles from the city centre.
