A day in the Daintree

Another marvellous day in the tropics, this time in the Daintree National Park.
While isbi pursues her fascination with crocodiles, I’ve realised they’re not the only danger to be contended with here that we don’t experience down south. Firstly, there are Bos Indicus cattle (more specifically Brahmans) that might look quiet and dopey but their reputation suggests otherwise.
Secondly, in the extra, these trees are everywhere and likely to drop one of their coconuts on your head without warning.
Then there are irukandji which might be beyond my photographic skills but gave me my nearest to death experience a few years ago in Darwin. I’d rather take on that Brahman cow!
