Summer?

Got up this morning at 0605 and it was pouring. Two hours later it was still pouring. The woodpigeon on my neighbour’s tree looked a bit fed up but sat there nevertheless. 
Eventually around lunchtime it started to dry up and was reasonable enough for a walk round the loch this afternoon, I took a raincoat to be on the safe side.
