A Tale of the Unexpected

A butterfly survey at Longshaw today was a bit disappointing - just 4 butterflies of 3 species - 2 Small Heaths, a Small Tortoiseshell and a Common Blue. However, the sight of this startlingly-coloured Chicken of the Woods helped mitigate the disappointment.
