A Treefold (North)

I've heard of Sheepfolds, but never a Treefold. This one's just south of Aira Force Car Park, It is one of three treefolds in Cumbria created in 2017 by Harriet and Rob Fraser to mark the UK tree charter. This one has an oak tree growing in it. It was built by stones scattered over nearby fields by storm Desmond in 2015.

The words carved on stones on the front of it read "years weathered taking the long view" (there may be others that I missed) and are words that complete a poem written by Harriet that winds its way from treefold east on Little Asby Common, and treefold centre on Grizedale forest.
