Woodpecker

The pair of great spotted woodpeckers have started bringing their juveniles to the garden. Yesterday they were being fed on the ground but today they found the nuts for themselves.

The young have a red patch on their brow.

I'm getting on a bit better, such a lot to do. I ventured into town to pick up a parcel sent down from Lewis with some gifts for me to pass on.
