After a two year absence - because of Covid - the local gala has risen again - appropriate that the parade down the village street was led by The Phoenix New York Parade Band - espied these members walking up to the start point - smiles all round from all taking part in it - some of these in extra

Bittersweet day - R was involved with the gala for over 40 years - met people not seen since his death - got hugs - M took over his dad’s stall duty - also received condolences and memories from folk - a day to smile about
