White Water Lily

The white water lily (Nymphaea odorata) is abundant in Crosswinds Marsh, a park where I frequently walk. I photographed the first lily pads of the season here on May 6th, and now these plants almost completely cover this small lake. The water lilies are blooming all over the park, and their fragrance attracts many insects. Most of the flowers are covered with bugs.
