Doing Life? Still Life? What a Life!

The fruit bowl always makes a good subject. We seem to have a lot of pineapples lately, and bananas are always good for you - so they say. We are all becoming fruit bats!

I just like the colours and the contrasts. I guess painters throughout history have tried to capture these images and textures. Somehow, it is always fascinating, yet quite motionless and without any apparent message or meaning. I am sure Lounardo will give me a lecture about this tomorrow !!
