Night out

We had an extra night in Stornoway, courtesy of Calmac and a cancelled ferry, so decided to have a meal.out as we were all packed up ready to head to Uist. The Leverburgh to Berneray ferry had developed a technical fault and was cancelled until Tuesday. Anyone who visits the islands knows that the ferry service can be unreliable but this was our first experience. Also at this time of year they are pretty well booked up, so to cut a long story short instead of a short crossing today we will take the ferry from here back to Ullapool, drive to Skye and take the ferry from Uig to Lochmaddy, just a slight diversion!
