4 Mile Beach

Seen from the lookout, this is the beach near our apartment and where we cycled yesterday. We are planning to take the bikes out again tomorrow and head right down to the far end.

Next we hired a little boat and spent 2 hours cruising down the estuary. We didn’t manage to spot any crocodiles but it was a very pleasant way to spend the time.
The collage shows a boat (not ours) for Derelict Sunday, Mr isbi skippering (not very well as he got us caught up in an overhanging tree), engine envy (the little one is ours) and the crocodile warnings on our instruction sheet. We were particularly taken with the advice to climb a tree asap if separated from our vessel.
