Blackbird chick

Being fed. I know it is not a good picture but it illustrates the size of the chick. I think the chick is only 9 or 10 days old and should have been in the nest for a few more days. I hope it survives. By the time blackbird chicks leave the nest they look bigger than their parents. This one is clearly much smaller and very downy.
