Poor Boy

The blue tit chicks left the nest and we witnessed a catastrophe as the first one flying out collided with the railing of the terrace and looked lifeless. Gradually it regained consciousness and stood/sat up. My wife gave it some water (hence the wetness) as the sun shone on the terrace. After about 3 hours it finally jumped off the terrace looking ok. SO a happy ending :-) 

As we tried to be away from the terrace as much as possible we did not see its parents feeding it during the period but perhaps they did.
