Turning Point.

We got up at silly o’clock this morning to do our Wetland Bird Survey. It was sunny but quite cool. This time of year is quieter as the birds are busy tending to their young, but we managed a couple of year ticks in the form of Garden Warbler and Common Sandpiper. The vegetation was very lush and the honeysuckle and dog roses were in flower, as were my favourites -  foxgloves. This group were growing at the point where we turn to do the return leg of our walk.
