Poacher?

Medieval weekend at Forgemill. We didn’t go yesterday, it rained.Today was dry  but rather cool for standing around. This didn’t matter as we were close enough to nip home for a warm if we needed..
We hit a slight snag  on arrival, the official entry was through the main museum building which is somewhat congested, the entry normally used for events was padlocked even though entry was free. Fortunately a member of the staff saw us  and unlocked the gate so that Redilady and I could get Violet through.
Although at mid day there wasn’t a big crowd, it was busy enough to cause the usual problem with getting clear a clear shot of anything. I’ve settled for a heavily cropped picture of the man demonstrating loading and firing a medieval crossbow. Quick firing it definitely wasn’t.
