Garden visitor

Up fairly early today and Bailey's first walk was in the sunshine if not the same sort of warmth we had last week. Home to crack on with some jobs, prepping for lessons and assemblies this week. And this afternoon I made some banana bread and fettled things in the garden, dead-heading the roses, tidying petals, filling up bird feeders and planting out cosmos and one lone cerinthe grown from seed. There was some warmth out there on and off and this small tortoiseshell was making the most of it.
