Mum’s birthday

Today would have been Mr PC’s Mum’s 106 th birthday, we picked some flowers from our garden and took them down to the cemetery.

(St Martin’s was built by the first Lord of the Manor of Seamer, one William de Percy. He was granted the manor by William the Conqueror not long after the conquest. It is known the Seamer estate was in his hands in 1086 at the time of the Domesday Book.)


This afternoon I made 5 jars of strawberry jam and there was enough left over for Strawberry Eton Mess for dessert.
