Waterlilies

Nymphaea ; the one in the extra has a label, 'Perry's White Wonder' .

We took a very full tram from Haymarket to St Andrew's Square, then walked by Dublin Street and Scotland Street to Huntly Street and the East gate of the Botanics. Waterlilies in the pond at Inverleith House. The cafe there had scones and available tables in sunshine .. the west wind was cool enough that the sunny patches were welcome.
We watched some cricket in Inverleith park,  visited the swans in the pond - six cygnets swimming - and walked back by Stockbridge and the West End.
