Vouglans

We decided to go back to the nicer lake we had seen. It  really is lovely and we've had a very refreshing few dips in there. We  were warned that the water was very cold, but used to Cornish coastal waters as we are,  it seemed pretty tepid to us!
The bar and cafe on this site are closed early too as are a few more round the corner. One young woman just locking up told us that everything is "bizarre apres Covid" It's the same at home so can't grumble really.
The lake is another manmade one formed by a dam , but it is very clean and good for swimming. There's a line of buoys to separate the boating activity away from the swimmers. Just as well I thought after seeing some of the speed boats out there.
