Fidra from Yellowcraig

I was out at Yellowcraig today with my friends, John and Eric. It was amazingly quiet so we had the woodland and almost all of the beach to ourselves. I made some stupid mistakes in my photography like underexposing in the woods to cope with the dappled lighting and forgetting to to return to normal exposure when we walked out onto the macchir but a crucial issue was in forgetting to check the front of my lens which was badly smeared on the bottom edge. Normally most lens distractions do not badly affect  the images but this certainly did
