Rewilding

Today was a day in the Actual Office.

I went back to my old routine of getting up at 5:30.  I had a plan just to double check that I had everything that I needed and enough time to make something for breakfast before heading off to get the bus at 6.  A relatively quiet trip through Wiesbaden - the bus was never full and I had a seat to myself.  Very pleasant.

I was in my office just after 6:30 and I wasn't alone - 2 colleagues were already there.  It's an early rising team.

It was a very different kind of day - much, much louder than usual.  Plus I added to my reputation as Professor ISPF which I always enjoy.

This patch of grass was once a well cared for lawn in front of the office but since no-one has really been there for 2 and a quarter years, it's just been allowed to grow wild.

I think it should stay that way.
