The Lozarithm Lens

Reybridge (Tuesday June 21st 2022)

I saw a couple of swans on the Avon last time I drove over the old bridge at Reybridge, and today I saw their three cygnets for the first time, so this time I had to stop. Walking alongside the river I saw a heron, and by the time I got back to the bridge it had waded up behind them. They were a fair distance away and partly obscured by reeds but it was a charming scene.

Later in the day I saw another heron in flight above a main road, and a family of buzzards, with the young (buzzlings?) being given lessons in aerodynamics.
