A Walk in The Park

A bit later than usual for Takaya’s daily walk but we weren’t getting up with the birds. However we got to see Südpark, the normal source of his blips, and it’s great. I think I’d walk there most days too if I lived nearby. More walking followed, this time in the town centre, before grabbing a well earned beer on the banks of the Rhine and watching the gas barges glide past. Romantic stuff eh? Lunch with Takaya then it was time to grab our gear and catch the train back to Munich. I didn’t see if it reached the 300kph speed of the trip North or not but at least it was the whole train this time so we got our reserved seats and it arrived pretty much on time. Our wee adventure is over but it was a grand outing.
