Lakeside to Seaside

What a difference an hour makes. We left Italy with a temperature of around 32º and arrived in Scheveningen where the temperature is around 20º with quite a cool wind. The sun is warm but it feels cool, almost cold.

We notice nearly everybody is wearing a jacket and a few with padded jackets. We have jackets and are wearing them, but they are lightweight summer jackets. The temperature drop is quite a shock. Still at least it is not Aberdeen where we would probably have had about another 5º drop in temperature. That further shock still awaits us.

The journey went well. The flight was on time and our baggage did not get lost this time. We got a train for Den Haag straight away and a taxi over to Scheveningen.
