Bryn Celli Ddu burial chamber

We explored some of the Isle of Anglesey today in baking hot weather.  This burial tomb was fascinating and is around 5000 years old.  We could go inside through a low entrance passage and it opened into a larger round room that we could stand up in.  There were some varied 'offerings' inside (see extras) including a child's small doll.  It was in beautiful surroundings.

On the way there we stopped for toilets at the visitor centre at the town with the longest name in Welsh.  Also in extras is Stuart and me standing under the name sign - which I am not going to type out, ha ha!
