Through these eyes

Gaskell Memorial Tower

We picked my sister-in-law up from the airport this afternoon and as most of the stories coming out of Manchester Airport recently had people waiting 3-4 hours for their luggage, we decided to spend the morning in Knutsford whilst we waited for them to get out of the airport before we went to pick them up. With the exception of the pickup car park which was absolute chaos, they had no problems and were out 15 minutes after they landed.

My blip is the Gaskell Memorial Tower which was built in 1907 and dedicated to the 19th Century novelist Elizabeth Gaskell who spent her early childhood in Knutsford.
