Warkworth Castle

We spent the first half of the afternoon wandering around Warkworth Castle, built in the12th Century. Ralph Percy, 12th Duke of Northumberland, is the current owner and head of the House of Percy.

Although much of the castle is now a ruin, visitors can wander through rooms and imagine what life might have been like in its heyday.
