Letter From My Grandpa to My Aunt Winifred - 1952

Was at Mum and Dad's today. Some items been handed in by my cousin, Moira recently. I loved finding this letter, from my Grandpa (on my Dad's side), who died long before I was born, to my Aunt Winifred. He seems to have written it to her from hospital in 1952. In a letter you really can 'hear' the voice of the writer. I 'hear' family turns of phrase still used now. And to have his writing...and to be able to read it...and photograph it (like a spy) and shared it here. How the world changes.
