Dead cool

We went on a cultural tour in the morning, stopping for a while in Cerveteri town to visit the museum, and then going to see the Etruscan tombs nearby. The area where the tombs are located is vast, with lines of tombs side by side as in the photo, with some larger and grander ones for the more privileged families. It was very hot walking round them but inside they were deliciously cool. Interesting to see how much work must have gone into building them.
