On top of the world

.... well not quite, but it felt like that up there on such a clear sunny day.
This is Little Almscliffe near Stainburn. It is about three miles north of its larger and more famous namesake, Almscliffe Crag.
I have often passed it, but today ventured across the field to take a look. It appears to have some history behind it, with signs of it being a cairn or beacon in the distant past.

There's another version in the extras showing crags, a bike, golf balls (Menwith Hill) and windmills.
