Seated Couple

I've blipped this little suclpture before, one of my favourites at the entrance to a block of flats in New Gorbals, Glasgow.

There was a bit of a problem in that no one locally could tell us what it was called or who the sculptor was.  Even the local library drew a blank.   However it was identified soon after going on the Art UK Website. There is even a facility called 'Art Detective'  to encourage members of the public to help identify art works.  In this case I think it was the artist himself who identified it. 

'Seated Couple' is by an excellent sculptor - Kenny Hunter.  One of his famous works in Glasgow is 'Citizen Firefighter' which is outside Central Station.
