in shades of pink

when i glanced out - at the community garden - i saw pink in one - of the garden plots - and knew it hadn’t been - there before but having - been sick and all - there’s just no telling - how long it had been - there either so i made - haste and went down - to check things out

imagine my surprise - to discover this - fabulous iris staring - at me from the plot - it looks to be - in its final days - of blooming as the - petals are rather - translucent now but still - fairly photo worthy and trust me - anything pink is always - going to be a subject - i will focus upon - since pink never fails - to make it…
